ERIE, Pa. – The No. 23 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (6-1, 2-0 PSAC) improved to 2-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action thanks to a dominating 15-8 win today on the road at Gannon University (2-2, 1-1 PSAC).
Katie Costanza (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) led the way with four goals and
Ashley Gochenaur (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) netted a hat trick.
Hayley Kilian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) and
Dana Laulis (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) paced the offense with seven and four assists, respectively.
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) had another fine game and led the way from the draw circle. She recorded 10 of LHU's 16 draws, as they once again proved a huge difference-maker for the Bald Eagles. O'Herrick added a pair of goals in the win.
Emily Gerhart (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) led the defensive charge with two caused turnovers and goalkeeper
Lauren Marte (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) was sensational, finishing with 16 saves, which helped power Lock Haven to the win.
The Bald Eagles led 8-3 at halftime.

Today's game marked the first of two straight PSAC games on the road. The Bald Eagles will head to Millersville University for a mid-week game on Wednesday, March 28 (4 p.m.).
