BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The No. 23 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (8-4, 4-3 PSAC) fell 14-11 today on the road at Bloomsburg University (9-3, 5-2 PSAC) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
The Huskies held a slim 6-5 advantage at halftime, but used eight second-half goals to surge past Lock Haven.
Braxtin Reddinger (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) led The Haven offense with four goals and
Katie Costanza (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) scored twice.
In all, seven different Bald Eagles scored including
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown). She had one goal, five ground balls, four draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Hayley Kilian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) dished out two assists.
Lock Haven was credited with 13 caused turnovers including two each from standout-defenders
Emily Gerhart (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) and
Madison Eberly (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township). The two combined for seven ground balls. Goalkeeper
Lauren Girardi (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) was once again outstanding on the way to a 12-save outing.
LHU will host Kutztown on Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m.
