LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (18-11) scored 10 runs in each of its games to sweep Lincoln University (0-19) in non-conference action at Watkins Field.
 
The Bald Eagles used four home runs and 12 total batters recorded a hit to secure the two-game sweep.
 
Game 1: W, 10-1
 
The Haven jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the second inning and did not look back as LHU put up three runs in the fourth and four in the fifth to take the 8-0 lead.
 
Highlighting the action was the fourth inning where 
Justin Sleigh (Dubois, Pa./Dubois), 
Ethan Moore (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) and 
Brady Chappell (Milton, Pa./Milton) all launched solo home runs capped by back-to-back from Moore and Chappell.
 
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) and Sleigh both capped the scoring in the sixth inning with RBI-doubles to give Lock Haven the 10-1 lead which would hold for the final score.
 
Getting the nod as the starting pitcher was 
Dillon Good (Denver, Pa./Nyack College) who fired a complete game two hit gem. Good carried a no-hitter through 5 innings as he struck out nine batters while only allowing one earned run.
 
Game 2: W, 10-5
 
LHU continued its strong batting early in the second game as the Bald Eagles scored six runs in the first three innings.
 
Stotler led the way as he drove in three runs as he belted a three-run home run in the fifth inning. Six other batters for Lock Haven all recorded one RBI including Sleigh who recorded three hits.
 
Santino Nave (Philadelphia/Roman Catholic) was the starting pitcher as he whirled a complete-game, allowing five earned runs while striking out two Lion batters.
