BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (20-13, 10-10 PSAC East) fell to Bloomsburg University (25-9, 15-5 PSAC East) 15-8 and 6-5 in
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action Saturday at Bloomsburg.
LHU and Bloom split the four game series this weekend with each team winning two games at their respective fields.
GAME 1: L, 15-8
The Bald Eagles fell in a game one slugfest, 15-8.
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) led the LHU offense, going 2-4 at the plate with a double, a run scored and three RBIs.
Liam McArthur (Basking Ridge, N.J./Seton Hall) and
Kolby Dehaas (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho/Wenatchee Valley C.C.) also had two hits apiece. McArthur went 2-4 with a run scored while DeHaas went 2-3 with two RBIs in the game.
Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Pa./Chesapeake College) added two runs scored and an RBI while
Ethan Moore (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) and
Justin Sleigh (Dubois, Pa./Dubois) each added RBIs of their own.
GAME 2: L, 6-5
The Huskies were able to edge out the Bald Eagles in game two, 6-5.
Stotler once again led the Lock Haven offense, going 3-4 at the plate with a double, a run scored and two RBIs.
McArthur went 2-3 at the dish with two runs scored while
Keyshawn D'Orso (Pittsburgh/Mercyhurst North East C.C.) added two RBIs for LHU.
Stover added a single to go along with his two runs scored and an RBI.

Lock Haven will host Millersville on Friday, April 27 in a PSAC East doubleheader. The first game of that series is set for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.
