LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (20-15, 10-12 PSAC East) dropped contests to Millersville University (27-14, 15-7 PSAC East) 7-6 and 13-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action Saturday at Watkins Field.
The matchup pitted two Atlantic Regional top teams as LHU entered the game ranked No. 8 while Millersville was No. 4 in the initial NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings.
GAME 1: L, 7-6
The Bald Eagles went down early and then used a four run third inning to cut the deficit to 5-4. The inning was highlighted by a
Kolby Dehaas (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho/Wenatchee Valley C.C.) solo homerun to right field.
LHU would score two more in the fifth after
Reagan Lawlor (McMurray, Pa./Peters) singled through the right side to score both Dehaas and
Justin Sleigh (Dubois, Pa./Dubois) to make it a 7-6 game which would hold to be the final.
GAME 2: L, 13-1
Six different Bald Eagles recorded a hit in game two, but it wasn't enough as the Marauders were able to knock off Lock Haven, 13-1, to take both games of the double header.
Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Pa./Chesapeake College) led LHU at the plate as he recorded a double while
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) had an RBI.
Liam McArthur (Basking Ridge, N.J./Seton Hall) scored a run for The Haven.

Lock Haven will hit the road as The Haven will travel to Millersville tomorrow (April 28) to cap the four game weekend series. The first game of that series is set for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.
