LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (1-2) fell on the road to Edinboro University (3-2), 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20) in LHU's first of three games this weekend at the Rebich Investments Invitational, hosted by Edinboro.
The Bald Eagles battled with the Fighting Scots in each set, but Edinboro was able to escape with the victory.
Lock Haven was led by
Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) as she led The Haven offense with eight kills in the game. She also tallied nine digs and two block assists.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and
Chloe Williams (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) both tallied seven kills each for the Bald Eagles.
Shaye Whiteman (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburgh) led the LHU defense, tallying a game-high 21 digs.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) played a strong all-around game, totaling 26 assists to go with 10 digs.

The Bald Eagles will return to action tomorrow morning (September 1) when LHU takes on Glenville State at 10:00 am in their first of two games for the day. Lock Haven will also face Davis & Elkins tomorrow with that game set for a 2:00 pm start.
