The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (4-3-1)(2-1)PSAC fell to Slippery Rock (3-3-1)(1-0)PSAC by a score of 3-1.
Slippery Rock held a slight 11-10 advantage in shots, however Lock Haven led 6-0 in corners.
Lock Haven's attack was led by
Beckham Sibiski (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) who opened the scoring in the 12
th minute after collecting a rebound and tucking it past the keeper for his team leading 5
th goal.
The Bald Eagles were unable to hang on to the lead however as Slippery Rock tallied goals in the 18
th 38
th and 57
th minutes. A strong outing from
Camden Cook (Rosedale, Md./High Point) recorded five saves to keep Lock Haven in striking distance.
LHU will have a chance to rebound as Shippensburg comes to town on Sunday, September 23 (1:00 p.m.)
