LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (6-8, 5-6 PSAC) dropped a closely contested match verse West Chester University (13-5, 8-2 PSAC) 75-66, Friday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
The Bald Eagles trailed by 4 at halftime in a closely fought matchup. The Haven pushed back late, but the Golden rams defense held strong and the Bald Eagles fell just short.
The Bald Eagles were led offensively by
Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) who scored 25 points to go along with 7 boards.
Christian Kelly (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) continued his strong offensive performance, and added 23 points for Lock Haven.
Jihad Barnes (Philadelphia/Philadelphia Electric Charter) turned in a strong night, tallying 7 assists and 9 points for the Bald Eagles.
The Bald Eagles will next return to action and take on Millersville on January 23rd. That game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
