BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (7-5, 3-3 PSAC East) fell to host Bloomsburg University (8-5, 4-2 PSAC East), 77-58, this evening on the road in the Bald Eagles 2018-19 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opener.
LHU standout freshman
Taylor Leidy (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley) led the way with 11 points.
Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) netted 10 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists in a solid outing on the road.
Rileigh Devine (Etters, Pa./Red Land) and
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) finished with eight points each.
Jordyn Kloster (Manchester, Pa./Millersville) added five points and six rebounds off the bench. In all the Lock Haven bench contributed 19 points.
Bloomsburg got off to a strong start and the Huskies were led by Taylor Montana who netted 28 points.
The Bald Eagles will host Mansfield University on Saturday, January 5 at 1 p.m. in PSAC East action.
