EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (8-6, 4-4 PSAC East) fell to East Stroudsburg University (8-7, 5-3 PSAC East), 81-60, tonight on the road in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action despite a career-night from
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey).
Parker, a sophomore-forward, notched career-highs in both points and rebounds with 26 and 12, respectively. Her game-high 26 points came by way of 11 of 23 shooting from the floor and a 4 of 6 night from the free-throw line. Eight of Parker's 12 rebounds came on the offensive end.
Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh (State College, Pa./State College) netted nine points and
Nadia Romanchock (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) added six.
Jordyn Kloster (Manchester, Pa./Millersville) grabbed six rebounds and
Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) added five.
The Warriors were led by Tiffany Lapotsky's 19 points. She was one three players in double-figures for ESU.
Lock Haven will return to the court on Saturday, January 12 at 1 p.m. when the Bald Eagles host California (Pa.) University.
