Men’s Soccer falls to rival Millersville

The LHU men’s soccer team dropped a PSAC match to rival Millersville on Wednesday night.

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-7, 2-4 PSAC) fell to Millersville University (7-3-2, 5-0-2 PSAC), 4-1, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East play on Wednesday night.
 
The Bald Eagles struck first in just the 13th minute when Andrea DiSomma (Lancaster, Pa./ Manheim Township) notched his tenth goal of the season capitalizing on a Marauders defensive mistake. Millersville evened the game in the 33rd minute and the teams went to the break level at 1-1.
 
The Marauder's controlled most of the possession in the second half and were able to pull away for the 4-1 victory.
 
DiSomma paced the offense registering six total shots to go with the lone goal for the Bald Eagles. Ivo Klaric (Vienna, Austria/University of Vienna) also fired off two shots for the Haven.
 
Camden Cook (Rosedale, Md./High Point) made six strong saves as he did his best to keep the Bald Eagles in the game.
 
Next Up:
 
LHU will be back in action on Saturday, October 19 when they travel to take on Shippensburg. That game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff.
