KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-15, 0-11 PSAC Central) was on the road Friday evening for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match falling to Kutztown (9-12, 3-8 PSAC Central) 3-1.
Kutztown would jump out to a two sets to zero lead as they won a tight first set 25-19 and then the second 25-15.
LHU would not go down easy as they would take the third set 25-23. However, the fourth set would go to Kutztown which would gave them the match.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) had a big day for the Bald Eagles. McDonald registered 14 kills, 15 digs and 4 blocks. All of which were team highs for the match.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) turned in a solid performance for LHU adding 26 assists and three blocks of her own.
Madison Goodwin (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle Antrim) and
Cassidy Hoover (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle High) tallied 14 and 10 digs respectively for Lock Haven.
