LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (3-11-2, 3-11-1 PSACE) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup against Kutztown University (10-7, 8-7 PSACE), 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Golden Bears jumped out early on the Bald Eagles in the ninth minute and took a 4-0 lead into halftime. After a busy first half, Lock Haven got the lone goal in the second half from
Marley Sprenkel (Selinsgrove, Pa./ Selinsgrove High) off an assist from
Josie Swartz (Mifflintown, Pa./Junita).
Swartz and Sprenkel tried to jumpstart the Haven attack and each fired off three shots. Swartz put two of those on target and notched the assist on Sprenkel's goal.

Karly Trillhaase (Eatontown, Ny./ Monmouth Regional) was forced into nine saves as she faced a barrage of 22 shots from Kutztown.
