LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-18, 0-14 PSACSE) fell at home today on Friday evening to visiting Shippensburg (6-18, 0-14 PSACE).
Shippensburg raced out to a quick start taking the match in straight sets in crossover Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) volleyball action at Thomas Fieldhouse.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) paced the Bald Eagles tallying a game high 13 kills. With 13 more kills tonight McDonald now has her 13
th game with at least 10 kills.
Gloria Kroh (Clarion, Pa./Clarion Area) was second on the team in kills recording seven of her own.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) was all over the court setting up the LHU attackers in recording 24 assists on the night. For Nealon, this game marks her 20
th game of the year where she recorded at least 20 assists. Nealon also added eight digs to complete her all around nice effort.
Cassidy Hoover (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle High) led the way for Lock Haven with 12 digs. The 12 digs were good for a team high.
Madison Goodwin (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle Antrim) added nine digs of her own for the Bald Eagles.
