SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (10-12, 7-10 PSAC East) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division road game today at Shippensburg University (19-6, 13-4 PSAC East), 100-70.
 
Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and 
Christian Kelly (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) led the way for Lock Haven, as they scored 23 and 21 points, respectively.
 
Cerruti added five rebounds, two blocks and a steal, while Kelly grabbed eight rebounds.
 
Jihad Barnes (Philadelphia/Philadelphia Electric Charter) chipped in with nine points.
 
Host-Ship shot 58 percent and saw four players score in double figures.
 
For Lock Haven a huge PSAC East game awaits the Bald Eagles at home. LHU will return home to host West Chester on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. At halftime of the game, LHU will honor the LHU men's soccer program and the team's 2018 ECAC Division II championship.
 
Looking ahead, Lock Haven's final home game of the 2018-19 regular season is slated for Saturday, February 23. LHU hosts Millersville on Alumni & Friends Appreciation Day.
 
Lock Haven will close the regular season with road contests at Cheyney (Feb. 27) and Kutztown (March 2).
