LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (13-12, 8-10 PSAC) fell to West Chester University (14-12, 10-8 PSAC), 62-51, on Thursday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action at Thomas Fieldhouse.
Coming in on a three game winning streak the Golden Rams would build up a 33-24 halftime lead over the Haven after a fast start. The Bald Eagles would chip the lead down to five in the third quarter but West Chester responded to every Haven run and pulled away late for a 62-51 win to stretch their streak to four in a row.
Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) would lead the Bald Eagles in scoring with 14 points. Redman would also grab seven rebounds and two steals to cap her night. Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) would also tally double figures scoring 11 points on 5-7 shooting from the field
Ayanda McGill-Jefferson (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) led the Haven on the glass and grabbed eight boards to go with six points
