Lacrosse set for contests with Bloomsburg and Kutztown

The LHU Lacrosse team will host Bloomsburg on Wednesday and travel to Kutztown on Saturday.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University lacrosse team (3-8, 1-5 PSAC) has two more Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contests this week against Bloomsburg on Wednesday (April 10) and Kutztown on Saturday (April 13).
 
On Wednesday (April 10), the Bald Eagles host Bloomsburg University (8-3, 4-2 PSAC) at 4 p.m. Last week, the Huskies won their only contest beating Kutztown University, 15-5. Hannah Jaskuta leads the Huskies in scoring tallying 25 on the year, and Grace Kelleher is sixth in the conference at 3.29 goals per game.
 
Then on Saturday (April 13), Lock Haven travels to Kutztown. That game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start. In their last outing, the Golden Bears beat Edinboro University, 12-7, on Saturday (April 6). Before the matchup with The Haven, Kutztown will host No. 11 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday (April 10). Erin Vaughan Ware leads the Golden Bears in points with 32 this year. Ware has scored 18 goals this season and is tenth in the PSAC with 1.4 assists per game.
 
Notes:
 
  • Loren Librizzi ranks second in the conference at 2.78 assists per game and total assists with 28.
  • Lauren Girardi ranks second in the PSAC in saves per game at 11.64, and her 128 saves are third best in the conference. Girardi is also seventh in the conference with a .483 save percentage.
  • A trio of Bald Eagles have netted 20 or more goals this season. Kate Hooper leads the Bald Eagles and is ninth in the PSAC with 29 goals. Just behind her is Caitlin Morrow who has a team best 40 points on 26 goals and 14 assists. Rounding out the three is Braxtin Reddinger with 22 goals.
