WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (2-4, 0-2 PSACE) fell on the road to West Chester University (4-1, 2-0 PSACE) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East division action Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams and Bald Eagles got locked into a defensive battle for 106 minutes before West Chester finally broke through for the game-winning goal on a back-post header.
Camden Cook (Rosedale, Md./High Point) turned in a fine performance making six critical saves to keep the Haven in contention.
Andrew Moore (Lancaster, Pa./ Conestoga Valley) helped anchor a Bald Eagles defense which stood tall facing 11 shots and constant pressure from the Golden Rams.
Andrea DiSomma (Lancaster, Pa./ Manheim Township) and
Shane Colegrove (Athens, Pa./ Athens) each registered one of the Haven's two shots on the day.
