LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-7) fell in straight sets to Mercyhurst University (10-3) on Saturday afternoon in a matchup of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central and West teams.
 
The Lakers jumped out early on the Bald Eagles and took the first three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-9 and 25-13 respectively.
 
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) posted 18 assists as she tried to spark the Haven attack. She also tallied five digs. Gloria Kroh (Clarion, Pa./Clarion Area) notched a team best six kills and two service aces.
 
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) led the team in digs recording 11 on the day.

The Bald Eagles next match will be there home opener versus Slippery Rock on Friday, October 4. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. first serve.
