LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-7) fell in straight sets to Mercyhurst University (10-3) on Saturday afternoon in a matchup of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central and West teams.
The Lakers jumped out early on the Bald Eagles and took the first three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-9 and 25-13 respectively.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) posted 18 assists as she tried to spark the Haven attack. She also tallied five digs.
Gloria Kroh (Clarion, Pa./Clarion Area) notched a team best six kills and two service aces.
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) led the team in digs recording 11 on the day.
