Jazmin Palma (Entre Rios Province, Argentina./Colegio Sagrado Corazon de Jesus) had a goal and two assists and goalkeeper
Joaquina Orlandini (Concordi, Entre Rios, Argentina/San Antonio School) made six saves as the duo helped fuel the Lock Haven University field hockey team's (2-1) come-from-behind 3-2 win on the road tonight at Colgate University (1-2).
With the win, the Bald Eagles improved to 2-1 on the young season.
Tia Judy (East Prospect, Pa./Homeschooled) registered a goal and an assist, and
Prabhneet Basra (Surrey, British Columbia/Sullivan Heights) added a goal for the Bald Eagles. Both
Emily Robb (Millersville, Pa./ Penn Manor) and
Amy Stevens (Castle Creek, NY./Whitney Point) registered assists to help power the offense.
Palma's first career goal put Lock Haven up 1-0 20:08 into the game, but Colgate tied things at 1-1 just 48 seconds later.
The hosts took a 2-1 lead into halftime, but the Bald Eagles rallied down the stretch.
Judy tied the game at 2-2 in the 38
th minute and Basra provided the game-winner win the 48
th minute of play.
The Bald Eagles will close the weekend on Sunday, September 8 at Cornell (3:30 p.m.).
