LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (2-11, 0-3 PSAC) fell to Millersville University (6-12, 1-2 PSAC) in straight sets (25-20, 29-27 & 25-21) today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.

After the Marauders took the opening set, the two teams battled out a marathon second set, in which the Marauders prevailed, 29-27. The third set was once again hard-fought, but Millersville pulled out the decisive victory, 25-21.

Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)) paced The Haven offense with a match-high 15 kills. Fialova added 16 digs on the defensive end.
Grace Hugar (Clarence, Pa./Bald Eagle) added eight kills of her own and 17 digs.

Regan Happ (Lighthouse Point, Fla./Westminster Academy) led the LHU defensive effort, tallying 25 digs and she chipped in offensively with a team-best three service aces.

Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) handed out 23 assists for The Haven attack.

The Bald Eagles get back into action next week and travel to Kutztown on Friday, October 7 for a 7 p.m. start time.
