MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (1-5, 1-5 PSAC East) dropped both games of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division doubleheader today (Saturday, March 20) at Millersville University (5-2, 2-0 PSAC East) as the two teams opened their weekend series. Millersville won game one, 13-0 and edged out Lock Haven, 2-1 in game two.

In game one, Millersville scored 13 runs on 15 hits.

Reagan Lawlor (McMurry, Pa./Peters Township) was 2 for 3 at the plate in the opener and
Joe Shannon (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent (Mercer C.C.) went 3 for 3.

In game two, the hosts edged out Lock Haven, 2-1.

Shannon put LHU up 1-0 in the second inning with a solo home run, but Millersville plated two in the bottom of the fourth.

Kyler Mellott (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte (Clarion) was solid in his start. The Bald Eagle pitcher went six innings, scattered five hits, walked four and struck out six.

The two teams will play again tomorrow (Sunday, March 21) as the series shifts to Lock Haven. Game one first pitch tomorrow is 1 p.m.
