INDIANA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's lacrosse team (1-1, 1-1 PSAC West) was edged 12-11 today on the road at Indiana (Pa.) University (2-2, 2-1 PSAC West) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division overtime thriller.
Lock Haven led at the half, but IUP tied the game late in regulation and the hosts found the game-winner with seconds left in the extra frame.
For LHU, both
Caitlin Morrow (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) and
Krysta Reading (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) recorded hat tricks, while
Casey Hibbard (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne Central) added a pair of goals.
Campbell Brant (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) dished out two helpers and the trio of
Braxtin Reddinger (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford),
Addy Borkowski (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton) and
Josey Shaffer (Westminster, Md./Manchester Valley) added goals for Lock Haven.
Reading added six ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Lauren Girardi (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) made 14 saves for LHU.
