Millersville, Pa. – The Lock Haven University tennis team (0-2, 0-2 PSAC East) traveled to Millersville University today (Friday, April 16) for Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action and fell, 6-1, despite impressive matches from the Bald Eagles.
Maddy Reeves (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) headlined the day with the first No. 1 singles win since the programs return in 2019. She battled her way back after losing her first set 6-1. In her second, the ace topped Jasmine Morris of Millersville by way of a 6-4 set and defeated Morris in tiebreaker action, 10-8, by making good use of the singles sideline.
Millersville (3-3, 2-0 PSAC East) managed to fend off the rest of the Bald Eagles, coming away with the win 6-1.
Delani Wolever (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) was a contender in her No.2 singles match. She dropped two to Millersville's Julie Wallace despite tough fought battles between the lines.

Today's contest marked the first of four matches in a five day stretch for the Bald Eagles.
LHU will return to action on Saturday, April 17 at noon in Lock Haven's home-opener vs Shippensburg. The Bald Eagles will travel to West Chester on Sunday (April 18) to play host WCU at 2:00 p.m.
