BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (2-9, 0-1 PSAC) fell to Bloomsburg University (6-7, 1-0 PSAC), 3-1, (25-13, 20-25, 25-15 & 25-17) in its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener on Friday night in Bloomsburg.

The Huskies took control in the opening set on the way to a 25-13 victory, but in the second set the Bald Eagles battled back and leveled the match at 1-1. Bloomsburg then took the third and fourth sets for the 3-1 win.

Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/(Indian River)) and
Grace Hugar (Clarence, Pa./Bald Eagle) led the Bald Eagles in kills with 7 each. Fialova added 14 digs, while Hugar notched 7.

Regan Happ (Lighthouse Point, Fla./Westminster Academy) put in a solid effort on the defensive end with a team-high 21 digs.
Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) led LHU with 22 assists on the night.
