LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (6-7, 3-6 PSAC) fell to Kutztown University (14-3, 7-1 PSAC) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup on Wednesday night as they fell by a 65-44 tally to the Golden Bears.

Jackie Fetsko (Marion Center, Pa./Marion Center) layup gave Lock Haven a 4-3 lead with 6:01 to play in the first quarter. The Bald Eagles surged behind momentum from the bench late in the first quarter but trailed by five at an 18-13 margin after 10 minutes of play.
Selena Mann (Boalsburg, Pa./Boalsburg (Saint Joseph's)) knocked down a pair of free throws to open the scoring in the second quarter, drawing the Kutztown lead to a single score at an 18-15 margin with 9:08 to play in the opening frame. Kutztown controlled the reminder of the first half of action as the lids were on the hoop for Lock Haven as the Golden Bears owned a 36-21 advantage at the half.
Out of the intermission, Kutztown outscored the Bald Eagles by a 19-12 margin, before Lock Haven won the battle in the final frame. Lock Haven outscored the Golden Bears by an 11-10 margin over the final 10 minutes but it wasn't enough as Kutztown rode away with a 65-44 victory.
Fetsko and
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) led all Lock Haven scorers with 13 points each. Parker pulled down a team-high six rebounds in the loss.
