LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (5-6, 2-5 PSAC) fell on the road to Bloomsburg University (6-7, 4-3 PSAC) today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play, 63-54.
LHU led at halftime, 28-27, behind 17 second-quarter points. The Bald Eagles held the momentum in the third quarter putting away 15 points. In the end, Bloomsburg was able to outscore Lock Haven, 36-26 in the second-half, and eventually score the 63-54 victory.
Lock Haven was stout in the paint scoring 30 from inside the lane. LHU notched 15 second-chance points.
The duo of
Jaynelle Robinson (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport (Monroe CC)) and
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) both came away with double-doubles for the second time this week.
Robinson posted 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Parker added 20 points and 11 rebounds. She was outstanding beyond the arc as she shot 3-4. The Lancaster native added a block and a steal.

The Bald Eagles are set to take the road again on Monday when they are scheduled to play at Mansfield at 5:30 p.m.. Lock Haven has won nine of the last ten versus the Mounties.
