LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven volleyball team (1-21, 1-10 PSAC East) hosted Shepherd University (17-6, 9-2 PSAC East) on Friday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action, which saw the Rams take the conference match, 3-1 (25-16, 20-25, 25-13, 25-13).

Shepherd handled the first set cleanly, taking the first nine of ten points. The Rams went on to take an early lead, winning set one, 25-16.

Lock Haven retaliated withÂ
Maggie Rafferty (Palmdale, Calif./Highland) and
Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)) combining for seven kills to help The Haven win the second set 25-20.

The Rams responded early in the third, grabbing six straight points to help return the lead back to the visitors, winning set three 25-13.

Set four saw Shepherd finish out the night, claiming victory by winning the final set 25-13.

Fialova led the team with 10 kills, planting her 11
th game this season with double-digit kills.
Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) posted a team-highs in both assists with 30 and service aces with 2.

The Rams combined for 21 blocks and had 25 assists in the match,
