LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven volleyball team (1-22, 1-11 PSAC East) hosted Shippensburg University (16-11, 8-4 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest, and the Raiders came out on top, winning the match, 3-1 (22-25, 25-16, 25-6, 25-14).

Eric Buggs and the Bald Eagles honored their four seniors:
Riley Runk (York, Pa./Dover),
Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)),
Grace Hugar (Clarence, Pa./Bald Eagle) and
Hannah Lingold (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus).

The Bald Eagles started strong in the opening set and took the win 25-22. The team gathered 12 kills in the set, with
Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)) and
Evie Jane Rembold (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) combining for seven.

Shippensburg evened out the scoreboard in the second set, tying the match up after securing the set 25-16. The Raiders took the lead when the visitors made a statement in the third set and won the set 25-6.

Shippensburg finished out the night in the fourth set, winning by a 25-14 score.

Fialova and Rembold led the team in kills with 11 and seven respectively.
Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) led the team in assists with 26.

The Raiders controlled the net and combined to knock down 18 blocks as five different players recorded multiple blocks.
