SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. – The Lock Haven volleyball team (1-16, 1-5 PSAC East) traveled to West Virginia to take on Shepherd (12-6, 4-2 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup on Friday night. The host Rams took home the victory 3-0 (25-13, 25-21 & 25-21).
 
Shepherd came out strong at home and took the first set 25-13. The Rams took an early lead in the set and were able to carry it across the finish line. Shepherd went on to win the next two sets in very competitive fashion 25-21 in both sets to seal the 3-0.
 
Offensively, Kelly Gaston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview) finished the night with 16 assists. The sophomore also added nine digs.
 
Gabriela Fialova (Ledec nad Sazavou, Czech Republic/ (Indian River)) notched a game-high 11 kills. The Bald Eagles outside hitter also recorded nine digs and two aces.
