LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's basketball team (3-2, 1-0 PSAC) hosted Seton Hill University (4-3, 0-1) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) battle as the Bald Eagles defeated the Griffins, 75-60, behind four players reaching double digits in scoring.
Brooke Lawyer (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic), Olivia Smith (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley (Frostburg State)), Alana Robinson (Rockaway, N.J./Pope John Paul II), and Taylor Leidy (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley) all stood out to notch double figures, for LHU it was the second straight match where four players have tallied double digits.
Seton Hill started off with the early lead, with a 20-8 run through the first six minutes of the first quarter. LHU scored the last seven points to close the gap to end the first quarter down 20-15.
The Bald Eagles evened up the scoreboard, going into halftime deadlocked at 33. Lawyer helped spark The Haven, scoring eight points in just four minutes in the second quarter.
Lock Haven exploded for 22 points in the third quarter to take 55-49 lead into the final quarter. The home team Bald Eagles finished off the final ten minutes, starting off hot on offense, dropping ten in the first three minutes to help solidify their lead and cement their third straight victory, 75-60.
Lawyer and Smith led the Bald Eagles in scoring with 16 and 13 respectively, followed by Robinson and Leidy each hitting 12.
LHU's defense held strong only allowing the Griffins to shoot just 38.9% from the field and 26.1% from the arc, including allowing one three during the entire second half.

The Haven gets right back on the court tomorrow (Dec. 3) when they host No. 15 California (Pa.) in another PSAC East-West matchup. That game is slated for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.
