BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team (16-17, 5-9 PSAC East) visited Bloomsburg University (20-16, 6-6 PSAC East) for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division battle where the afternoon was split with the Bald Eagles taking game one, 5-1, and the Huskies grabbed game two, 12-4.Â

LHU controlled the first game from the start as the Huskies were only able to muster up four hits. The first run came off a Sydney Arrigale (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) blast in the top of the fourth.Â
The Bald Eagles added four more runs in the sixth which came off an Amanda Criss (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) two-RBI double, a Morgan Karasek (Bangor, Pa./Bangor) triple and a Delaney Good (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) bunt single. Â
Madison Waltman's (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) complete game shut down the Huskies. Â
She struck out four, with the only run coming off a wild pitch.Â

With a Rianna Trexler (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte) single and a Summer Peters (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) sacrifice fly, the Bald Eagles started with a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Â
Bloomsburg tallied four runs into the scoreboard to take a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the second inning.Â
The third inning saw Arrigale with a sacrifice fly and a Huskie hit to make it 5-3. Riley McClellan (Granville Summit, Pa./Troy) blasted her third home run of the week to cut the deficit to just one, but Bloomsburg stole the game, scoring seven unanswered runs to take game two, 12-4.Â
