LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University lacrosse team (7-8, 4-7 PSACW) fell in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division play today on the road, 15-8, to Slippery Rock University (10-6, 6-5 PSACW).

Slippery Rock had a hot start and outscored Lock Haven 10-4 through the first half. Lock Haven responded both defensively and offensively, but could not cover the deficit and fell to Slippery Rock by a final score of 15-8.

Krysta Reading (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) scored five goals for Lock Haven and was the Bald Eagles' top scorer on the day. She scored five of six shots, added six draw controls and caused three turnovers.

Caitlin Morrow (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) dished out two assists in the contest and added a goal in the process. She also added a strong five draw controls.
Gracie Chaires (Darlington, Md./Harford Technical) had an impressive defensive outing, forcing five turnovers in the contest. She helped keep Lock Haven in the game late despite Slippery Rock's fast start.
Next Up:
Lock Haven will return home to play Edinboro this Saturday (April 30) for Senior Day. That game is scheduled for a 1:00 P.M. start.
