LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (3-1-1, 1-1-1 PSAC East) fell to West Chester University (4-0, 3-0 PSAC East), 3-0, on Saturday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match-up.
The Bald Eagles held strong early, but West Chester took a lead late in the first half with a goal from Emily Delusi. The Golden Rams took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
West Chester built off their first half momentum and grabbed two more goals in the second half to take home the 3-0 lead.
Megan Miller (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) amazing streak came to a close today, the freshman had not givien up a single goal in 358 minutes for the Bald Eagles. Miller added 10 saves today after facing a 13-shot barrage from WCU.
Lock Haven finished the game with seven total shots.
Abby Burdyn (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) led The Haven attack with two shots on goal.
