LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Lock Haven field hockey team (3-7) fell to Rider (4-6), 2-0, Sunday (Oct. 1) afternoon on the road in non-conference action.
Rider scored in both the third and fourth quarter after a scoreless first half, and the two second-half strikes helped the home team to victory. With the win, Rider moved to 4-6 overall on the season.
Coming off their first Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) win of the season Friday (Sept. 29) at Richmond, the Bald Eagles are now 3-7 overall (1-2 A-10).
Anna May Barbusca (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) did all she could to spark the attack and finished with two shots, and goalkeeper
