LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team (4-11-1, 3-10-1 PSAC East) fell to visiting Shepherd (6-5-5, 4-5-5 PSAC East), 3-1, tonight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.
Prior to the start of the match, head coach

Jocey Francis (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff),

Trinity Seaman (Annville, Pa./Annville-Cleona),
Emily Shaw (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin),
Mackenzie Hernley (Annville, Pa./Annville-Cleona),
Ella Hart (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor),
Evelyn Ciaccia (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury),
Jocelynne Kuhns (Mount Holly/Springs, Pa.),
Allie Stover (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) and
Allyse Filipowich (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M. Coughlin).
Francis, an aforementioned senior, scored for Lock Haven and goalkeeper
Megan Miller (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) finished with three saves.
Shepherd led 2-0 at halftime behind the solid play of Adrianna Morales and Lydia Gable. Morales opened the scoring in the sixth minute off a pass from Gable, and Gable scored to make it 2-0 in the 22
nd minute off a pass from Morales.
In the 61
st minute, Francis tucked the ball home and put Lock Haven on the board off a pass from
Eva Stoessel (Grantville, Pa./Lower Dauphin).
Leading 2-1 in the second half, the Rams found their third goal in the 70
th minute of play.
