LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team (4-12-1, PSAC East 3-11-1) fell to Bloomsburg (6-4-5, PSAC East 6-3-4) 2-1 in their final home game of the 2023 season in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division game on Tuesday (Oct. 31).
Evelyn Ciaccia (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) finished off her senior home campaign by finding the back of the net for her team-leading ninth time, coming off an assist from
Luca Verello (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan).
However, the Huskies had already built a two-goal advantage through the opening 66 minutes and the clock was no longer on the Bald Eagles side.
Megan Miller (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) finished with five saves in net for the Bald Eagles. Lock Haven added two team saves.
Ciaccia led the Bald Eagles' offense with a score and three shots on goal.
Leana Cuzzocrea (Mars, Pa./Mars) finished behind her with two shots, including one on goal.
