ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University lacrosse team (2-4, 1-1 PSAC West) was edged, 14-13, today on the road at Gannon University (1-5, 1-1 PSAC West) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
Gabby Gunnip (Jordan, N.Y./Jordan Elbridge) led the way for Lock Haven as she finished with five goals.
Emma Williams (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) netted a hat trick, and
Abby Katrinak (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) scored three goals and recorded one assist.
Josey Shaffer (Westminster, Md./Manchester Valley) and
Abby Hampson (Adamstown, Md./Tuscarora) both scored once for Lock Haven.
Shaffer also recorded four ground balls, three draw controls, and one caused turnover. Hampson added four draws and three ground balls.
Gracie Chaires (Darlington, Md./Harford Technical) added two caused turnovers.

Dana Mirigliano (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) finished with 10 saves and five ground balls.
Despite cold and windy temperatures today in Erie, the two teams combined for 27 goals.
Lock Haven led 6-3 after the first quarter and the Bald Eagles led 11-8 at halftime, but host-Gannon used a second-half rally to earn the win. LHU clung to a 13-11 lead heading into the final quarter, the Golden Knights found three goals in the fourth to secure the PSAC West win.
