LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team (14-12, 4-6 PSAC East) split a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division doubleheader today with Millersville University (14-14, 3-5 PSAC East) thanks to a thrilling walk-off win in game two.
Millersville won the day's opener, 4-1, but the Bald Eagles responded in exciting fashion on the way to the 6-5 game-two victory, and split. Trailing late in game two, the Bald Eagles rallied on the way to the walk-off win.
Millersville won game one, 4-1. The two teams exchanged runs in the first inning, but Millersville used some timely hitting in the second and third inning, and the early-lead proved strong for the visitors.
Delaney Good (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) recorded two hits and scored once in game one, and
Bella Schmitt (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) was 2-for-3 at the plate.

Keiva Middleton (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) threw six innings of relief and allowed just two hits, one run and she struck out three in a solid effort.
The Bald Eagles trailed Millersville 5-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh, but The Haven responded in a big way, scoring three runs, including the game-winner with two outs in the final inning.
Haley Lestician (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence) was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored. Schmitt had two hits and one RBI.

Kinley Gioglio (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) was credited with the game-two victory.

The Bald Eagles will be right back as it tomorrow (Monday, April 3) at 1:30 p.m. when they host Shepherd in PSAC East doubleheader action.
Schedule Change:
Wednesday's (April 5) doubleheader with IUP has been postponed and moved to April 26.
