BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's soccer team (2-3-3, 0-1-2 PSAC East) fell 1-0 on the road at Bloomsburg (4-2-1, 2-1-1 PSAC East) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match on Wednesday (Sept. 27).
Bloomsburg scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 23
rd minute of action.
The first half was evenly played, with each team recording three shots, with one coming on goal.
Alex Neal (Epsom, England/Royal Russel) fired off a shot on net for the Bald Eagles.
The Bald Eagles best chance came in the 24
th minute of the first half, but the Huskies made a team save to defend Neal's scoring chance.
Brady Freiwald (Altoona, Pa. Altoona) continues to impress in net for The Haven, making five stops in the full 90 minutes.
Seven different Bald Eagles recorded a shot, led by the lone on goal opportunity from Neal.
