LORETTO, Pa. – The Lock Haven field hockey team (2-2) was edged out 2-1 tonight on the road at Saint Francis (4-2) in non-conference action.
Brooke Hofsass (Hershey, Pa./Lower Dauphin) scored for Lock Haven.
Host Saint Francis took the 1-0 lead in the 40
th minute, but the Bald Eagles battled back.
In the 51
st minute, Hofsass scored off a pass from
Deana Campbell (Southampton, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and tied the match at 1-1.
Just minutes later, the Flash scored the eventual game-winner when Dolores Zavaleta found the back of the cage.

Kelsey Felix (Hallam, Pa./Eastern York) was sensational for the Bald Eagles and her seven saves kept The Haven in the match.
