SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's indoor track and field team finished its double-meet weekend by competing in the Susquehanna River Hawk Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University (Jan 20.) inside the Robert I. Estill Field House.
The Bald Eagles had a successful afternoon, finishing with five athletes in the top eight in eight different events.
Tyrone Benjamin (Manchester, N.J./Manchester Township) started the day off for the Bald Eagles with a quick 60-meter prelim time of 7.28 seconds, before placing seventh in the finals.
Ben Streator (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain) led the team in the pits today with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump (38-05). He also placed eighth in both the long jump (18-9.75) and 400-meter (57.68).
Ethan Rogers (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) had a strong mile, earning himself sixth-place (4:42.8), before adding a 13
th-place finish in the 800-meter (2:15.86).
Eric Dixon (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) (56.04) and
Skylar Small (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain) (2:09.46) both added 7
th-place finishes in the 400- and 800-meter.
