PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven field hockey team fell on the road to seventh-ranked Saint Joseph's University 13-1 in an Atlantic-10 (A-10) Conference game on Friday afternoon (Oct. 4).
Madison Friend scored her second goal of the season to lead the way for The Haven.
Ranked No. 7 in the nation, SJU built a 4-0 lead in the first half, before running away in the second half on the way to the A-10 victory.
In cage, Lock Haven goalkeeper
Kelsey Felix made a game-high seven saves in 39 minutes.
Maja Halasz closed out the game in cage for The Haven and made two saves.
Lock Haven finished with three shots on goal, led by
Elien Bos with two and Friend with the goal.
The Bald Eagles move to 2-9 overall and 1-2 in the A-10. SJU improves to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in conference.

The Bald Eagles remain on the road and will travel to Bucknell on Sunday, Oct. 6 for a 12 p.m. non-conference contest.
