Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The No. 18 Lock Haven lacrosse team (12-3, 7-3 PSAC West) fell to visiting Seton Hill (11-4, 9-1 PSAC West), 18-8, this afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
 
Gabby Gunnip (Elbridge, N.Y./Jordan Elbridge) led the Bald Eagles will three goals. Makayla Kelly (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) and Josey Shaffer (Westminster, Md./Manchester Valley) both scored twice, and Nadia Baskot (Damascus, Md./Damascus) scored once.
 
Abby Katrinak (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) dished out two assists, while Kelly and Baskot each had a helper.
 
Goalkeeper Dana Mirigliano (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) finished with 11 saves and Mackenna Brown (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas Institute) racked up four ground balls.
 
Lock Haven entered today's game ranked No. 18 in the latest USA Lacrosse Magazine Top-20 national poll.
 
NCAA Regional Rankings (April 24):
Earlier today, the NCAA released the first edition of the 2024 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings and Lock Haven was one of six teams listed in the Atlantic Region rankings. Today's rankings were announced in alphabetical order and will remain an important tool in determining the field for the 2024 NCAA DII Women's Lacrosse National Tournament.
 
Up Next for Lock Haven:
For the Bald Eagles, just two important PSAC West contests remain on the 2024 regular season schedule. Lock Haven will return to action Saturday, April 27 at 12 p.m. vs. Edinboro. The final home game of the regular season will serve as The Haven's 2024 Senior Day. Looking ahead, Lock Haven will close the regular season on Saturday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m. at IUP.
