LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven field hockey team wrapped up its opening weekend of the 2024 season by hosting Temple at Charlotte Smith Field on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 1).

Temple scored in each period on its way to a 6-0 non-conference victory.

For the second straight game, rookie
Madison Friend led the way for The Haven. Other notable individual performances came from Paige Sigley,
Alyssa Endrick and
Elien Boss.

Joelle Bartlett and
Gracyn Catalano both recorded a shot on goal for The Haven.

In the cage,
Kelsey Felix and
Maja Halasz combined to make eight saves for the Bald Eagles.

Lock Haven falls to 0-2 and Temple improves to 2-0 on the young season.

The Bald Eagles continue their homestand on Friday (Sept. 6) by welcoming Georgetown to Charlotte Smith Field for a 3 p.m. non-conference contest. Friday's contest will serve as the program's Pride Game.
