Setting the Stage:
The Lock Haven football team is set to host Millersville on Saturday, Sept 28. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
 
The game marks the Bald Eagles' 2024 Homecoming Game.
 
Saturday marks Lock Haven' third straight home game and the Bald Eagles are coming off back-to-back narrow defeats to perennial Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West powers IUP and California.
 
The Bald Eagles are 1-2 overall after picking up a lopsided, 31-9, Week-1 win at Glenville State. Millersville is winless on the season at 0-3. Saturday's game marks the PSAC East opener for both teams.
 
Promotions:
Saturday marks Lock Haven's 2024 Homecoming Game.
 
Always a fan favorite, the Snyders Concessions' food truck will be on hand once again for home football games this season. Snyders will have a variety of food options for purchase throughout the season. Lock Haven athletics has partnered with Avenue 209 Coffee House and the local favorite will be on hand for select home athletic events throughout the year, including the football game on Saturday. Fans can purchase a variety of refreshments.
 
Ticket Update:
The Lock Haven Department of Athletics recently announced the Bald Eagles will move to online ticket sales only (no cash; online card sales only – pre-sales and/or on game day) for home football, volleyball, men's and women's wrestling, and men's and women's basketball contests for the 2024-25 season, and beyond.

Tickets can be purchased at Hubert Jack Stadium on game day – with a card (no cash).
 
*A credit card service fee of will be applied to all transactions.
 
**Individuals who purchase tickets prior to game day will be required to show purchase of proof via receipt.

- Seniors 65 and older & Students - $10
- Children under 5 - FREE
- Lock Haven students, faculty & staff - FREE with Lock Haven ID
- Veterans & Active Military - FREE with ID
 
Parking / Trolley Advisory:
On gameday, there is no general parking at Hubert Jack Stadium. Parking is limited at the stadium to tailgate pass holders and ADA parking.
 
Fans are encouraged to park for free in the Zimmerli Lots (Lot No. 8 and 16).
 
Starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, a free trolley/shuttle will be available to transport fans from the Zimmerli Lot Area to the stadium. The trolley will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the Zimmerli Lot Area to Hubert Jack Stadium. A campus map is available at GoLHU.com.
 
Additionally, the Lock Haven campus community should note that - the parking lot at the stadium will be closed, Friday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 p.m. and will remain closed until 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, when the lot will be opened for tailgating. Vehicles not removed from the parking lot by 9:30 p.m. Friday may be towed at the owner's expense. Please contact University Police if you have any questions: 570-484-2278 or police@lockhaven.edu.
 
Tailgating:
The tailgate lot will open at 8 a.m. on Homecoming Saturday (Sept. 28) for those holding a season or single-game tailgate pass.

Digital Programs:
The Lock Haven Department of Athletics, in partnership with the Athletic Communications and Marketing office, is excited to offer fans and followers of the Bald Eagles a new way to access game day information while in attendance with the introduction of digital programs at home events for the 2024-25 academic year. Lock Haven's digital game programs are responsive in design and the setup is optimized for viewing on a mobile device, automatically scaling text and pictures to the proper size.
 
QR codes will be located at each Lock Haven athletic competition facilities, that will direct fans to the Gameday Program hub. Access to digital programs will be free of charge. Please note, printed programs will no longer be available on game day at home events. Gameday Hub.

Game Notes:
- Saturday marks Lock Haven's third straight home game as three of the Bald Eagles first four games during the 2024 season will be played at Hubert Jack Stadium. In all, The Haven will host five games at home this season.
- Following Saturday's home game with Millersville, Lock Haven will hit the road for a pair of PSAC East games at Shepherd (Oct. 5) and Kutztown (Oct. 12). The Bald Eagles will return home on Oct. 19 for a game vs. Bloomsburg.
- Lock Haven is 5-5 in the last 10 meetings vs. Millersville. The Bald Eagles won last season, 38-31, at Millersville, snapping a five-game Marauder win streak. The Haven won for straight in the series from 2013-16.
- The Bald Eagles are looking for their first win on Homecoming since 2016. Ironically, it was a 29-17 victory over Millersville in 2016. Lock Haven is 3-7 in the last 10 Homecoming games.
- Quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky has been nothing short of remarkable through the first three games of his Lock Haven career. His 277 passing yards per game lead the PSAC and rank 14th in Division II. Overall, his 831 passing yards are second-best in the PSAC and his six passing touchdowns are the most in the PSAC.
- T'iar Young (wide receiver) has been Ostrowsky's main target and the two have provided some electrifying football. Young's 124.3 receiving yards per game rank No. 1 in the PSAC and No. 6 in Division II. He ranks No. 1 (top-10 DII) in the PSAC in receiving TDs with four and his 373 total receiving yards are the second-most in the PSAC this season.
- Lock Haven's defense ranks fifth in the PSAC in yards given up per game and No. 8 in the PSAC in scoring.
