BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team fell to No. 25 Bloomsburg, 2-0, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest on the road on Wednesday night, Oct. 1.
The Haven shutout the nationally-ranked Huskies in the second half, but Bloom used two first-half goals and a clean sheet to secure the victory at home.
After allowing two girls through 45 minutes, the Bald Eagles' defense responded nicely in the second half and didn't allow a score, despite facing 11 shots.

Julia Tavares led the Bald Eagles' attack with two shots, including one on goal.
Lock Haven falls to 2-5-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg improves to 6-1-2 on the season with a 3-1-2 mark in conference play.

The Haven returns home on Friday, Oct. 4 to host Shippensburg in a PSAC East match at 1 p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
