LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Olivia Hudson found the back of the net late in the second half to lead the Lock Haven women's soccer team to a 1-1 tie at home against Shippensburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division battle at Hubert Jack Stadium on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 4).
Shippensburg took a 1-0 lead in the 11
th minute of the game, but The Haven connected for the equalizer in the 73
rd minute thanks to the first goal of the season by Hudson.
Aleigha Rieppel set up Hudson on the goal to notch her first assist of the season.
After allowing the Shippensburg goal early in the first half, The Haven defense was lights out.
Megan Miller finished with two saves in net for the Bald Eagles.
On the attack, three different athletes finished with two shots for Lock Haven, led by two on goal from
Angela Kaskabas.
The Bald Eagles move to 2-5-2 overall and 1-5-2 in the PSAC East. Shippensburg is now 2-3-3 on the season and 1-3-3 in the conference.
