Men’s Soccer ties Gannon 1-1 on the road

The Bald Eagles tied Gannon in a crucial PSAC West match-up.

GANNON, Pa. – In a battle of the top two teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division, the Lock Haven men's soccer team tied host Gannon University, 1-1, on Saturday (Oct. 11) evening.
 
With the tie, the Bald Eagles snapped a six-game losing streak against Gannon. Lock Haven moves to 6-4-2 overall with a 2-1-1 conference record. The Haven is just one point behind Gannon in the conference standings, while currently holding the head-to-head tiebreaker.
 
The Bald Eagles tied the game after a 52nd–minute goal from Kade Black, assisted by Carter Rosno. Black has scored five goals in the past two games.
 
On the attack, Black, Owen Lichtenwalner and Javier Contreras Leon finished with a team-high two shots.
 
Bald Eagle keeper Ethan Beck allowed only one goal in 90 minutes with 13 shots from Gannon, while finishing with two saves.
