LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In a battle for the top seed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) the Lock Haven men's soccer team traded blows with Seton Hill for the full 90 minutes, but neither team found the back of the net and the final whistle ended in a 0-0 tie on Friday night (Oct. 17) at Hubert Jack Stadium.
With the tie, The Haven's unbeaten streak moves to four games, dating back to Oct. 1.
A victory would have positioned the Bald Eagles at the top of the standings, however, The Haven is now in a tie with Gannon for second place in the PSAC West with a 6-4-3 overall record and 2-1-2 in the West.
Seton Hill is now in sole possession of first place with a 7-4-1 overall mark and 3-1-1 record in the conference.

Ethan Beck recorded his fourth shutout of the season and finished with three saves.
The Haven's back line of
Owen Lichtenwalner,
Danny Ogan and
Austen Veach were dominant in slowing down the Griffin attack, while midfielders
Ryan Miller and
Billy Lawrence were crucial in setting up offensive opportunities.
On the attack,
Kade Black finished with a pair of shots on goal, while
Javier Contreras Leon added a shot on target.
Noah Brady's shot in the end of the first half snuck just wide of giving Lock Haven the lead.
Lock Haven led the match with nine shots, while both teams finished with three on goal.

The Haven returns home on Wednesday (Oct. 22) at 6 p.m. to host Slippery Rock at Hubert Jack Stadium in a PSAC West match. Wednesday is the programs West Branch Soccer Club Appreciation Match.
